Testing the spark cut Rev Limiter in Megasquirt 2 Extra on my 1985 Saab 900 SPG. The rev limiter was set to 5000rpm which was too low and I was hitting it too easily. I have since raised it to 6000 rpm which is much better. The day after I made this video my transmission exploded. 3rd gear sheered off because of pinion bearing failure. Just before the video ends when I release the clutch with the gearbox in neutral you can hear the pinion bearing grinding.
